On the stroke of 90 minutes, substitute Nelson Esor danced his way into the box dribbling past two before he was brought down by the stretched leg of Desmond Agbekpornu and the referee pointed to the spot for a penalty.

Heartland goalkeeper Godwin Ameh who was fantastic on the day saved the initial kick but the referee ordered for a retake as the Assistant Referee’s flag went up. Bamba scored the retake to level score.

The goal keeper spoke  to www.freekicknaija.com.ng after the match and said it was more of two points dropped.

He stated that his side did not deserve  to draw the game as they geared their minds toward winning after a poor start against Mfm FC.

“Before we went to Port Harcourt, I had it in mind that we will not leave empty handed and that was what inspired me to put my best in the game to ensure we pick something but unfortunately we drew.

I feel disappointed with the draw because it was a game we could have picked the three maximum points.” he said.
