City Stars Football Club Unveiled: A New Dawn for Aba’s Football Scene

City Stars Football Club was officially unveiled in a grand ceremony held on Monday 25th March 2024 in Aba, Abia State, marking the dawn of a new era in Nigerian football. The unveiling took place at Fruity wood Hotel Aba And was attended by a plethora of dignitaries, including the club chairman, who was represented by Mr. David Chibuzor, the club’s General Manager, and Peter Idika,the Team Manager, among others.

Among the key figures appointed includes during, Ibe Nwagwugwu as Head Coach, Praise Nnana as Goalkeeper Trainer, Shiloh Ezenwafor as Media Manager

City Stars Football Club, a member of the National League One (NLO), is poised to make waves in Nigerian football with the primary objective of securing a coveted spot in the National Nigeria League (NNL) next season.

The club’s home matches will be played at the iconic Enyimba International Stadium in Aba, providing fans with a thrilling football experience. Meanwhile, the team’s training sessions will take place at Wilcox Schools, Ogbor Hill, Aba, on Mondays (3:00 pm), Tuesdays (5:00 pm), Thursdays (5:00 pm), and Saturdays (3:00 pm).

Embracing the spirit of unity and identity, City Stars Football Club proudly showcases its colors of red and white, with the home jersey adorned in striking red, while the away jersey features a pristine white design.

Official training sessions are scheduled to commence this Thursday at 3:00 pm at the Wilcox Schools training ground, as anticipation builds for the release of the NLO 2024 fixtures in the first week of April 2024.
