Super Falcons of Nigeria have booked a ticket to the 12th edition of Women’s Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Morocco after beating the Lady Elephants Of Cote d’Ivoire in the return fixture of the qualifiers.

88th minutes strike from Esther was enough for the 11th times Champions of the competition to secured their qualifications on 3:0 score aggregate.

It would be recalled that the first leg of the double encounters ended 2:0 in favor of the defending champions.

Nigeria had a goal disallowed earlier in the game. However, the highlight of the game was in the 33rd minute after Super Falcons goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie saved an Ivorian penalty that was awarded to them by the center referee.

The Ivorian were reported to be hostile towards Nigeria as they cut off the streaming of the game. However all their antics could not rescue them from the hands of the Nigerian team.

Congratulations to Nigeria.
