Coach Obinna Okafor forsees bright future for Kano Pillars Post Convit19 campaign

The Technical Consultant of Kano Pillars, Coach Obinna Okafor is futuristic about the prospect of the team bouncing back to reckoning after the covid-19 global pandemic is contained.

Kano Pillars, four time Nigeria Professional Football League champions were rated 7th on the league table before the season was disrupted by the covid-19 outbreak, and it seems they are already out of contention for top spot.

But the experienced gaffer who had a stint with Witbank Spurs FC, Cape Town All Stars, TS Galaxy FC, and Maritzburg United  all in South Africa insisted that his team will rejuvenate.

He disclosed that he is hopeful Nigeria will conquer this pandemic soonest and everything will get back to normal, with Kano Pillars taking its rightful place despite the setback.

Coach Obinna Okafor was contracted by the management of Kano Pillars to serve as the team’s Technical Consultant in November 2019.
