Ekiti United To Begin Open Screening Nov. 15

The Management of Ekiti United Football Club has says it will commence open screeing to recruit new players for the 2021-22 Nigeria National League season.

The screening will begin on Monday, November 15 as all interested new players will be assessed by the coaching crew.

The new interested players are to produce evidence of medical fitness and covid 19 vaccine while medical personnel will also be on ground to conduct necessary medical tests on every player prior to the screening exercise.

Similarly, players who were with the team in the 2021 football season are to go through the screening process to assess their ability to fit into the game plan of the current coaching crew.

New and old players are to assemble on Monday by 7am for the screening at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium, Ado-Ekiti.

The Team Manager, Adedeji Adu informed EUfc Media that professionalism in compliance with the best professional practice will be adhered to prior and during the 2022 league season in a bid to adequately reposition and prepare the team for the challenge ahead.

Secretary of the team, Ayodeji Olowolafe also hinted EUfc Media that the Management has sealed a deal with G4 Fitness Center located at Ekiti Kete Pavilion for players’ fitness among other plans to keep the players in good shape.

The Feeders Team headed by coach Mayowa Afolabi will resume activites on November 17.

The screening will run for about 2 weeks while priority will be accorded to home based players with a view to empowering locally based footballers from various teams in Ekiti state.
