The head coach of MD Football Academy, Coach Musa Hussaini Ibrahim in an interview with Timothy Aiyeku (Abuja) said his style is similar to that of Man City manager Pep Guardiola, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp and Tottenham gaffer Antonio Conte, combined, because he learns from the English Premier League bosses.
In his 8-year coaching career, the Kogi-Born coach who is in his 20s has taken time to study these managers and that has reflected in his style, hence his achievements within this short term.
“Each of these manager has special qualities that I’ve grown to love and combining their way of dealing with players and situation has shaped me into a better coach and as a better person.
“One thing that’s common with all of these top coaches which I’ve in me is passion.” the former head coach, Score line Sports, Kerala India said.
Explaining the peculiarities in some of the biggest names in the coaching world, the youth coach said, “Like mourinho I go out of my way to understand my players,
“Like Guardiola, I believe in educating them both on and off the pitch and giving them the room to think for themselves and create solutions to problems.
“And Like Klopp I try to manage my players as much as I can, creating that balance in my team and not making anyone feel better or superior to the other. Total respect and brotherhood reigns in my dressing room.”
However, the former Tiki Taka U17 coach expressed confidence in his abilities to manage any team in the world.
In his words “My believe in myself brought me this far if not I’d not be sitting here today having this interview with you.
“I know deep down, I have what it takes to manage any team in the world but I’m not prepared for a role as high as that at the moment.
“I’m still educating myself, increasing my experience, growing as a person and as a coach and when the time is right and when I’m fully ready then why not”
