Katsina Utd confirm signing of twelve new players

Katsina United FC have confirmed that they have recruited twelve new players into their fold for the upcoming Nigeria Professional Football 2019-2020 season.

‘The Changi Boys’ made the addition to replace some players like Martins Usule, Timothy Danladi and Ajanah Chinedu who left for othe clubs.

In a release by the club media on Thursday, the club confirmed the signing of Gambo Muhammed from Kano Pillars, Atule Joseph from Kebbi United, Manga Solomon from Real Stars FC.

Others include Rarara FC duo of
Habeeb Yakubu and Abubakar Abdullahi Danja, former Plateau Utd FC midfielder, Elijah Ogene, as well as Giwa Isaac from Elkanemi Warriors.

The rest include Moses Ugwu, Aliko Mustapha Alex Godwin from Yobe Desert Stars, Muhammed Sani and Nura Haruna from ASN Niamey, Niger.

Speaking on the newly signed players, Katsina United chairman Prince Abdussamad Badamasi said the additions were made based on merit.

“We took our time and examined these players before they were certified and cleared to join the team.

“All the twelve players have proved themselves during pre-season matches and we hope they will transform what they have exhibited into the league when the season started in just few weeks.
