Total CAF CC: We did not deserve to lose against ASC Kara – Rangers coach Ugwu

Rangers Intl FC Head Coach Benedict Ugwu has insisted that his wards did not deserve the result they got in Lome in their first leg CAF Confederation Cup tie against ASC Kara on Sunday.

Coach Ugwu in a post match talk said that it was a good match which could have ended on an even note stressing: “It was a very tough game for both sides. We did not deserve to lose the match but a loss of concentration in the dying moments of the match by my defenders presented them with the opportunity to score the winning goal.

No doubt, we have what it takes to get the result that will qualify us for the group stage in the return leg. I am very positive.”

Rangers Intl will entertain the Togolese side on November 3 in Nigeria for return fixture.

The aggregate winner of both legs will  pick a ticket to the group stage of the competition.
