Ayodeji Ayeni: Ekiti United will get it right againt Nnewi Utd

Ekiti United Boss Ayodeji Ayeni says his side will get it right when they host Nnewi United FC in the Nigeria National League match day 4 on Saturday evening.

Ekiti United lost their last league game away to Nilayo FC 1-0 in Abeokuta.

The Ado-Ekiti based side are eight on the league standing with 3 points from three games played while Nnewi United occupy the ninth position with 2 points from three games played so far in Group B1.

Ayodeji discribed their slim away loss to Nilayo FC as an indication to show the level of progress and more work to done on the team in coming days but was quick to shift attention to Saturday’s clash against Nnewi United.

“The focus now is to concentrate on our home game,” he said.

“Am very sure my boys will get it right come Saturday against Nnewi United. We have to give our home fans something to cheer about by getting the three maximum points.

“When you look at the ractional behind us conceeding two goals in our last two away games and look at the tactical aspect of approach of the team, you understanding the team is doing perfectly well but (Ekiti United) is still a team on progress.

He further stated that Nnewi United game will afford his team to improve on it technics and tactics because it will serve as a lunch pad to getting three maximum points on the road.

“The level at which the team has progress is remarkable and an very sure we get it right before week 5 starting with a win at home against Nnewi United.”
