Ekiti United FC Appoints Kehinde Anjorin As New Head Coach, Recalls Suspended Secretary

The management of Ekiti United Football Club have appointed coach Kehinde Anjorin a.k.a JOJOMA as the new head coach.

According to a statement made available to the public by the acting secretary, Tolulope Michael read, “The Board of Ekiti United FC ratified the decision to appoint the Ekiti-born tactician at their last management meeting held on Monday 15th August, 2022, in order to improve the performance of the club in the new football season.

“The new Head Coach, until his appointment was the Chief Coach of Football, Ekiti State Sports Council. Coach Kehinde Anjorin, a graduate of National Institute for Sports is also a CAF/NFF instructor and Chairman Football Coach Association, Ekiti State Nigeria.

“The Ekiti born CAF/NFF instructor will take charge of the team starting from September 1st, 2022 as they prepare for the 2022/2023 Nigeria National League.

“In the same vein, the Board of Ekiti United Football Club has approved the lifting of suspension placed on the club’s secretary, Mr. Ayodeji Olowolafe for negligence of duty and has been directed to resume immediately,” the statement read.
