Rojenny stadium Oba played host to over 5,000 young footballers on 8th October 2023 as FC Ebedei lead by Bar. Churchill Oliseh successfully held one day scouting programme.
FC Ebedei currently serving as the African football Academy for Denmark side FC Midtylland have through their scouting programmes been able to discover and nurture talents like Paul Onuachu , Raphael Onyedika and lots of other players scattered in Europe.
Teams from Imo, Abia and Anambra state were in hand to give the scouts a tough job as there are many expectional and gifted young players to choose from.
Ikenna Osueke the proprietor of Ozalla FA expressed his appreciation and satisfaction with FC Ebedei for giving the young players who aspires to play professional football the opportunity. In his word ” just like the players , I am happy that this kind of opportunity is available for many to take advantage of, it is a rigorous process but it worth it because nothing good comes easily, personally I am also happy that the scouts were able to see good players from Ozalla FA, it means that we are true definition of an Academy”
The players chosen from the scouting programme will be nutured at FC Ebedei for onward movement to Europe.
