The member representing Agatu at the Benue State House of Assembly and a football stakeholder in Benue State, Hon Godwin Abu Edoh, charged young footballers following the triumph of Victor Osimhem as the New African Football King.
According to him, it is a wake up call for Young footballers that have talents.
Speaking through one of his media aides, the honorable said best way to encourage the talented footballers is through the ways of giving them the opportunities of showcasing themselves.
The law maker who was once a footballer advocates total supports for grassroots Sports developments in terms of discovery of talents.

” By crowning Victor OSIMHEN as African player of the Year is a welcome developments and a wake-up call for the the younger generations that have the Talents to more dedicated and prayerful and hard-working right from time the young player had proven to be a good player right from his days at the under 17 world cup Tournament that he became the highest goalscorer he has been putting more efforts and today all is history so it’s a great opportunity for younger players to emulate OSIMHEN”.
