Ibe Thrilled To Score Equalizer Against Heartland

Katsina United midfielder Michael Ibe has expressed his delight scoring the equalizer that handed his side 1-1 draw away at Heartland.

Ibe’s equalizer gave the Tony Bolus led side a point on matchday 4 of the Nigeria Premier Football League at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri.

Katsina United went behind to Christian Nnaemeka’s 4th minute strike but Michael Ibe restored parity in the 74th minute when he benefited from Moses Effiong’s cornerkick to jab home unmarked.

“The feeling is always great when you know you can do something for your team, Ibe revealed after the encounter.

“It feels very nice scoring my first goal for my team that earned us a point away from home.

“This is just the beginning of many to come. I want to keep putting in my best week-in-week out to help my team win.”

Katsina United are 12th on the league table with 5 points from 4 games played so far.
