Kwara Sports Complex To Host Niger Tornadoes 2021-22 NPFL Home Games

The Kwara Sports Complex, Ilorin will host Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) returnees, Niger Tornadoes report FreekickNaija.com.ng.

The team’s Technical Adviser Abubakar Bala disclosed this after the Ikon Allah boys secured a 1-0 victory over Kwara United in a preseason friendly on Wednesday evening in Ilorin.

David Nnaji benefited from Dele Ayenuga’s error in the 54th minute to tap home the winner in a keenly contest game.

“Yes, very sure that we (Tornadoes) are going to play our league games in Ilorin,” Bala said when asked where Niger Tornadoes would play their home games for the 2021-22 NPFL season.

“We’re almost rounding up our preseason tour and will be back here in time to prepare for the opening league game,” said Bala.

Recalled the League Managenent Company, LMC did not approved the Bako Kantagora Stadium, Minna home ground of Niger Tornadoes to host league games due to some lapses noticed when the LMC inspected the stadium last month.
