Former Olympic star Sunday Johnson has stated that for easier access for collective learning, the federal government should consider having more study centres in all the six Geo political zones.
Initially it was mainly in Lagos then later in Abuja but recently that of Abuja was scarped due some reason but all had been centred back to Lagos.
The National institute for Sports ( NIS) was meant to train Sports Administrators and coaches in various stages of Sports. But the former footballer is concerned about those that can’t afford going to as far as Lagos for learning due to shorts of funds.
His words ” I am concerned about the federal government to Established the sports institutes accross the Six Geo political zones for people to fully go and study over there but most people are not finding it very easy because of the financial implications and Shortages of accommodation. Let government put these things into consideration”
The former Sydney 2000 member had shown much concern for people going for studies.
