As part of activity to mark and thank God almighty for the year 2023, UEJ Football Academy end of the year party ended in victory for both the Junior and senior boys categories.
The friendly matches which took place at Elekohia stadium saw junior boys defeating Citi boys academy by 2-0.
The first goal which came from Ola in the 26th minute of play arose the joy of parents and guardians who came out in thier numbers to watch and cheer thier young lads play, Chukwugozie made it two for the junior boys in the 68th minute while UEJ senior boys came from a goal down to defeat thier opponent 2-1.
Chief coach of UEJ, Junior Egu Ubangha was full of joy for the year under review noting that God has been good to the club and hence the end of the year party was organised to thank him as well as put the players in a relaxed friendly mode.
He used the occasion to appreciate parents for supporting the club and prayed that 2024 will be better in all ramifications.
Meanwhile coach of Citi Boys Academy, Victor Benjamin said that although his boys lost the game however they gave a good account of themselves.
UEJ football academy is for boys and girls from age 3.
