Why The Absence Of Aigbogun In The Technical Crew Could Affect The Super Eagles

It is no longer news that the Nigeria Football Federation have reshuffled the Technical department of the Super Eagles team on Monday. It would be recalled that Augustine Eguavoen has been given the mandate to continue as the interim manager of the Super Eagles team.

However, the new arrangement saw the removal of Paul Aigbogun from the Technical Crew while Salisu Yusuf is demoted to the position of second assistant coach and Chief Coach of CHAN Super Eagles. Emmanuel Amunike has been drafted to serve as first assistant coach to Augustine Eguavoen.

These decisions were taken ahead of the potentially –explosive FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 play-off round against the Black Stars of Ghana next month.

Meanwhile, I think the Super Eagles performance would be affected due to the absence of Paul Aigbogun who used to the coach that handless opponent scouting as well as video analysis.

Now that he has been dropped from the coaching crew, who will do the excellent work Aigbogun has been doing for the team? I believe he would have made a great effort to study the Ghanaian team before our meeting.
