Beji Anthony’s last-gasp goal secures three points for KF Bylis Ballsh

Nigerian forward Beji Anthony scored in the last minutes to help his side KF Bylis Ballsh secure maximum points against KF Apolonia Fier in the matchday 29 encounter of the Albanian Kategoria Superiore.


Beji recorded the solitary goal in the game which helped keep Bylis on edge of the relegation zone.


Before facing FK Apolonia, Beji’s last goal came against vllaznia where he scored the winning goal in a 1-2 away win and then was suspended for one game due to accumulated yellow cards.


Speaking about his efforts in helping to keep the team afloat, the forward stated that it was a deserved victory for his side.


“It was a very important goal for me and the team, and also a very important win for the team.” He stressed.

“Everyone in the team believed in me before this game. I remember two of my teammates told me that I will score. Fortunately, I did and I felt great scoring the winning goal at the last minute (90+1). It was the greatest feeling of my life. I’m happy, the members of the team are happy, too.”


KF Bylis Ballsh have managed to gain 29 points from 29 games and they occupy the 8th position.


Beji has scored nine times in the current campaign. He has 8 league goals and 1 in the Cup.
