221-22 NNL Season: Sports Commissioner Assures Ekiti United Players’ Sturdy Welfare Package

Ahead of the 2021-22 Nigeria National League (NNL) season, Commissioner of Sports, Hon. Michael Awopetu has assured players of Ekiti United of good welfare package.

Hon. Awopetu gave the assurance while addressing the players in one of their morning training session last week at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium, Ado-Ekiti.

Awopetu said the management board of Ekiti United have been saddled with the job for providing conducive atmosphere for the club to thrive in the coming season.

“We’re doing everything possible to give you the best welfare package and we can’t do less,” He stated.

“Your welfare ranging from salary payment, match bonuses and traveling allowances would remain our vocal priority to improve your performances.”

He however urged the players to be committed as to surpass last season’s record in the Nigeria National League and adhere strictly with the rules and regulations of the club.

The Commissioner also made a cash donation to the players.
