NNL: ”We were not Clinical Enough in Front of Goal”, says Akinwale Ogunjobi

Go Round right back, Akinwale Ogunjobi says his side 1-0 lost to Ekiti United on Sunday was as a result of their strikers not taking their chances.
Kehinde Olajuyin well converted penalty on the stroke of half time sent Go Round back to Omoku empty handed.
With Sunday’s defeat, the Omoku based side are place 5th in the table with 11points.
“We were just unlucky to have lost,” Ogunjobi told FreeKickNaija after the final whistle.
“We played as a team and did all we could. Build up well from the defence to the midfield and to the attack.
“Our strikers were not just clinical enough in front of goal but that doesn’t mean they didn’t do their best to get us goals.
“We were just unlucky. The penalty was just too bad for Nigerian football, how can a player that was stamped be
penalized and It’s just so painful.
“Today’s (yesterday’s) game is behind us and we look ahead to our next game at home against Rovers of calabar and by God’s grace victory is certain.”
