We Want To Finish Well In The League, Says Niger Tornadoes Mohammed Hussaini

Niger Tornadoes hard tackling defender, Mohammed Hussaini says the Ikon Allah boys will continue to fight to finish well in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.

Hussaini told FreekickNaija in an exclusive interview moments after his team held Sunhine Stars to a goalless draw in Akure that the Ikon Allah boys are determined to make every game counts not minding where they are playing from.

The former Heartland player played a pivot role in the heart of defence to ensure Tornadoes returned to Minna with a point.

“I give thanks to Almighty Allah for this draw,” Hussaini said.

“Like I told you earlier that we came here (Akure) with a lot of determination to win and a game plan and it worked for us despite picking a draw. It just one among a lot of games still to be played.

“The battle is still on in the league. We’re going back home to prepare for Katsina United (my former club) and I trust my teammates to make it three games on the bounce at home.

“The confidence and moral within the team is high and the motivation from the management most especially the chairman, Engr. Ibrahim Dada is second to non,” Hussaini pointed.

Hussaini further revealed that the goal is to finish the league is a comfortable position.

“We want to finish well and give our fans something to cheer at the end of the season.

“We understand our present position in the log and I believed we will finish well and keep the momentum going.”
