“We Will Have Better Performance Against Katsina United” – Niger Tornadoes Gaffer, Abubakar Bala

Technical Adviser of Niger Tornadoes, Abubakar Bala has said his team will have a better perfomance when they take on Katsina United in match day 11 on Sunday evening.

Bala said this on their return from Makurdi after their 1-1 draw away to Lobi Stars in Makurdi on Wednesday.

The Minna-born tactician stated that his wards are gradually getting into shape and adapting to the style he wants them to play since 60 percent of his players are new.

“We’ll have a better perfomance than that of Lobi Stars and I believed by the grace of God we come out victors. “We will play well and create chances and ensure we pick our chances as early as possible,” said Bala.

“It is going to be a tough one, you can see that Katsina United too are not doing well and their position in the table is not good as we are also.

“They will come here and fight very well to see they get something to add to what they had in their last home match against Sunshine, It going to be a tough one.

“One good thing about my boys is they are improving match by match, you can see the team is almost 60percent of a new team and gradually they’re blending together, they’re understanding each other, He said

He revealed that he is much more concentrated on his team than be soaked from the pressure and crisis coming from outside.

“I’m not looking at the circumstances and obstacles surrounding the team.

“If you trace back to history since I came to Tornadoes in 2015-16 season, after taking over in the second round after the first round, you can see the situation that brought me in that time and you can see the situation I faced at that time so always in Tornadoes it one crisis or the other, this crisis that crisis.

“You can see how we are coming out of the crisis, my attention is how to get the team in good shape, because like I told you is 60percent a new team. We need to concentrate and see the team is intact.

“The team level of understanding. Looking at individuals players understanding, knowing their selves very well, their own abilities very well, their own qualities very well, their own pairings in different departments separately, and also generally understanding the team style of play, how I want them to play.

“These are the areas we are concentrating on. We are not concetrating on the crisis, my only problem that is bothering me in the area of such crisis in not the issues coming from outside but our own personal issues inside the club which I believe things are getting better.

“We will all put head together to see that the team is out of this present position and the team is placed into a better position,” Bala concluded.

Niger Tornadoes are 18th in the league with 9 points from 10 games played so far.
